Challenge

In the absence of formal reporting the business managers developed individual dashboards to get an overview. Across these reports there was no consistency in neither content nor layout. This made it difficult to create a unified overview and limited the efficiency of working with data in daily operations.

Solution

With the aim of gathering all analyses and reports in one place, a central Power BI-based portal was created. The portal was made accessible to all relevant employees via a single login. Based on input from leaders across the entire business, a series of reports and analyses were then developed, starting with the financial report. New data sources are continuously added, paving the way for an even deeper understanding of the business. Since Spejder Sport does not have its own BI employees, the task of running the portal and developing new reports has been placed with Dataminds.

Result

A portal has now been created where all relevant employees can access reports and analyses. This has created a shared understanding of the business and a shorter path to decisions.
