Challenge
Management at Fynske Bank lacked fundamental insight into the impact of activities, products and services in terms of improving the customer experience and in driving profitability. This realization led to a decision to become a far more data driven business. And the prerequisite for fulfilling that ambition was a new way of structuring data.
Solution
A new data architecture was defined that enabled broad use of Power BI. Based on dialogue with the branches, design principles for reports were developed to ensure intuitive understanding and high functionality. Finally, a series of sales and management reports were created.
Result
The new reports have created a common understanding of the connection between efforts and results across the organization. Many employees have become familiar with working in Power BI. This has increased flexibility in the organization and made it faster to create overview and insight.
Our platform has, in addition to greater transparency and more insight through data, given us the opportunity to base our reporting design on strategic goals.
